Ratings and Reviews
See AllClearly the best talent on Conservative radio
I was told by a marine veteran who served in Vietnam and ultimately private service in the Middle East I needed to listen to Chris Plant. I have 2 daughters in the DMV and feel I’m not only apprised of the local DMV news, I also found greatness in the entire line up from 5AM thru the early evening. Other hours may be great too, but I can’t speak to those. I drive so much and radio is inconsistent so tuning in by the WMAL app brings me joy as I start most days. The truth matters to me and I believe WMAL delivers the TRUTH!
The O’Connell and Company highlighted the Gutfeld show last night and quips from 47. Don’t get me wrong. We MUST VOTE to WIN!
I cherish this opportunity to review the WMAL app. Appreciate the dedication to truth and quality programming. Please keep it up. Resources like WMAL are few and hard to find. I’m grateful to my ex-marine friend for turning me this direction. We have great people EVERYWHERE in this country. You never know where your day will end and what insight you may find from those around you.

Peace to you and yours
Life’s too short
I’m retired, and try to listen to WMAL on line during the day. Using a browser on my phone works to some extent, but is so frustrating due to frequent connection dropouts that I generally just wait the program I want to be podcast. Not only are connection drops rare in the podcast version, but there are far fewer commercials. (Vince’s podcast is really annoying, though, because whoever does the editing finds it amusing to put the commercials in the middle of sentences. I’m not exaggerating; it is not an exceptional thing, but the rule.)
As bad as browsers are, this app is MUCH worse. It usually rarely even starts, but if you’re unlucky enough to have it start, it will generally run for even shorter intervals before it drops out. Sometimes it will pick up again if you hit the “play” button, sometimes it needs to be closed and restarted. In either case, the first thing it does is play two commercials. The same two, every time.
On the radio, live WMAL is a series of commercials from a handful of sponsors, repeated endlessly, with an occasional interruption by talk radio. But it rarely drops out, and the talk is worth all of the commercials (and we’ve actually benefited greatly by using a couple of their sponsors services).
But life is way too short to waste on trying to use this app. Some web browsers (Opera or Brave) are a little better; at least they always open. You can’t even count on that with this app.
Stability much improved in update
It hasn’t crashed once and rolls right through ads as opposed to requiring you to close the ad in prior versions. That was annoying when driving.
CarPlay support seems much better as well. Overall, this now works as it should.
I can now listen anywhere in the world without issues.
